Guide on how to create a FiveM server using txAdmin
Creating a FiveM server
This guide will show you exactly how to setup a FiveM server with txAdmin in under 5 minutes!
FXServer Cfx default
Download
- Go to this website to download the FiveM artifacts
- Install the version with the highest number, example
Installation
- Open the
server.zipfile. If you can't find the download, open the downloads usingCtrl + J. - Create a new folder on your
C:/drive. Call itFiveMand in that folder create a new folder calledFXServer. - Go back to the
server.zipfile, copy all the content and paste it in yourFXServerfolder - Once you've put all the content in the
FXServerfolder, scroll down and findFXServer.exe, double click it.
txAdmin
- On the first setup of the server, txAdmin automatically opens in the browser.
- In the console that just opened after starting
FXserver.exeyou will find a pin consisting of 4 digits. This pin is automatically filled in in txAdmin. - Click Link Account
- If you do not have one, create a Cfx.re account, if you have one, click Continue
- Now you should see the following, create a password, confirm it 1 more time, accept the "Creator PLA" and click "Register"
Make sure to write this password down somewhere!
- Once you are at this page click "Go to the setup page!" in the top left corner.
- Click "Next"
- Make a short server name for txAdmin
- Click Popular recipes
- Click CFX Default FiveM
- On the "Data Location" step just click "Save"
- Finally click "Go to recipe deployer"
- Click "Next"
Cfx Portal
- Now you will need your Cfx license key
- Click Sign in with Cfx.re
- In the navigation bar of the Portal, click Servers
- Click the button that says "Generate key", it should look like this
- Display name: Whatever you want, we will call it "Test Server" for now.
- It should now look like this
- Click "Generate".
- On the "Server Registration Keys" section you will find your newly created Cfx license key. Hover over your new key and find the "copy" button under "actions" like as shown here
Do not share this key with anyone else!
txAdmin
- Go back to txAdmin and paste the key, then click "Run Recipe".
- Once the recipe is done executing, click "Next".
- Scroll down and click "Save & Run Server".

- Since we are using a framework, we are required to use a database, first follow this guide and then continue with the current guide.
- Once the recipe is done executing, click "Next".
- Scroll down and click "Save & Run Server".
